Before a single walkout sheet is filled in, the program needs a shape: which nodes are in scope, what the target architecture is, how the work sequences across markets, and who is accountable for each hand-off. BOGO sets that path with the operator, so the field and design work that follows is aimed at a decision that has already been made rather than one still being argued about.

Records age badly. Strand gets re-routed, taps get changed out, pedestals get buried, and MDU risers rarely match the drawing from ten years ago. BOGO walks the plant and captures what is actually there — pole by pole, tap by tap — so the design that follows is built on verified conditions instead of an inherited assumption.

DESIGN
Designed
Verified field data becomes an engineered, buildable network design.
This is where field data turns into a network: fiber to node, node to active, active to tap, tap to customer or MDU. Node segmentation, mid-split and high-split boundaries, DOCSIS upgrade paths, and 1.2 GHz / 1.8 GHz modernization are all decided here and drawn to something a construction crew can actually build.

Submitted
The route meets its approval points, and BOGO keeps that workflow coordinated.
A design is not buildable until the attachments are permitted and the make-ready is engineered. Applications, pole owners, joint-use partners, and municipal reviewers each move on their own clock. BOGO keeps the workflow coordinated and the submissions accurate — approval itself remains with the pole owners and permitting authorities.

Built
Drawings become built infrastructure, sequenced and coordinated.
Construction is where a program either holds its schedule or quietly loses it. BOGO plans the build, coordinates the contractors placing strand and fiber, and keeps the sequence honest against the design — so what gets built matches what was engineered and permitted.

ACTIVATE
Network activated
The upgraded network is activated and placed into service.
Splicing gets coordinated, the node is turned up or swapped, and the upgraded plant starts carrying subscribers. This is the stage with the least room for improvisation: cutover windows are short, and QA/QC has to happen while crews are still on site.

The last stage is the one most often skipped, and it is the one the operator lives with for the next decade. As-builts get reconciled against what was actually placed, sweep is coordinated, QA/QC punch items are cleared, and the program closes with a record the next project can trust.

Node
Where the optical network hands off to the coaxial plant serving subscribers.
The node boundary is the single most consequential line in an HFC upgrade — it decides service group size, upstream capacity, and what the build actually costs. BOGO supports node segmentation planning and design, the fiber coordination that feeds it, activation and node-swap coordination, QA/QC, and the closeout record.
