Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms govern your use of bogotelecom.com, the website of BOGO Telecom. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
What this site is
This site describes BOGO Telecom's engineering and program-management services for broadband network operators, and publishes technical explainers about broadband infrastructure. It is informational.
Nothing on this site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, a contract, or a commitment to perform work. Engagements are governed exclusively by a separate written agreement between BOGO Telecom and the client. Where anything on this site conflicts with such an agreement, the agreement governs.
Technical content is not engineering advice
The explainers in our resource library are general orientation for industry readers. They are not engineering advice for any specific network, and they should not be relied on as the basis for a design, a capital decision, or a regulatory filing.
Broadband network engineering is specific to the plant in question. Frequency plans, device capabilities, clearance requirements, and permitting obligations all vary by network, by equipment vendor, and by jurisdiction. Where we cite a specification, a standard or a federal rule, that primary source governs — not our summary of it. Always verify against the current specification, the applicable standard, and the rules in force in your jurisdiction.
We describe our editorial standards on the resources page. If you find an error, tell us at Nick@bogotelecom.com and we will correct it.
Regulatory and approval matters
This site references pole attachment rules, permitting processes and safety codes. BOGO Telecom does not grant, guarantee or accelerate any regulatory approval. Pole owners decide attachment applications; municipalities and permitting authorities decide permits; utilities set their own coordination requirements. Nothing on this site should be read as a representation about the outcome or timing of any approval.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, diagrams, the BOGO Telecom name, the BOGO wordmark, the waveform mark, and the Signal Chain framework and its presentation — is owned by BOGO Telecom and protected by applicable law.
You may view the site, and print or download pages for your own internal reference. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. You may not republish, redistribute, or use the content commercially, and you may not use our marks without written permission.
Our capability statement is provided for you to read and circulate internally in its original, unmodified form.
